An error occurred while saving the comment Jan Vork commented@Egor, maybe that is where the confusion comes from - an update,
I am working on some cartoon style illustrations, and when I need a variation of e.g. a skin tone, I apply a Global Color Swatch, and then drag a copy in the Swatches palette to change it. It keeps its name, and is some kind of new instance of the same Global Color Swatch - if I change it, all Swatches with the same name change along.
So, I can just remove two of the instances without loosing applied colors.
But Merge should work too, in my opinion, since the colors are the exact same.Merge Swatches can be much fancier anyway, think about:
-Merge All matching Swatches at once
-Merge Similar (with a tolarance setting)Jan Vork shared this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Jan Vork commentedPlease add a Brightness/Contrast tool.
Sometimes an illustration just needs more contrast. That is hard to achieve with the 'Edit colors' tool, which is mostly about hue and saturation.
