Save a Copy from Adobe Cloud Document.
I've noticed that when you use the new Save to Cloud Documents feature (which is very nice and convenient) the option to Save a Copy is disabled.
I'm working on a manual to be viewed as a PDF on mobile devices, so I have to constantly save a PDF copy of my .aic document in order to send it to myself via WhatsApp (which is the target) and review it.
Not having the Save a Copy option is quite inconvenient. Could you guys enable it?
Thanks a lot!

I need to save copy as pdf. Turn this back on or I will cancel AI. I need to save to my computer as well, ALL THE TIME!

The workaround (there shouldn't have to be a "workaround") is to save the Illustrator file with the ".aic" extension as a file with the ".ai" extension. You can then save it as a PDF (or many other file types) as we have been able to do for decades!

This is absolutely essential for both the original poster's reason (saving PDFs) and the first commenter's reason (saving backup .ai copies to local storage). We shouldn't have to Save As, then close the document, then reopen the document we were working on every time we make a backup or save a PDF. Please, please add this!

I'd like to be able to continue working in cloud document mode whilst having the option to periodically save an offline copy. Using save as converts the active document to an offline version which means you then need to reopen the cloud copy to get back to where you were. It's strange that this is not possible.
