3D rotation tool like XD and reedit primitive shapes
3D rotation tool like XD please!
And, the option to reedit a primitive shape (like a star for example). Changing the number of points at anytime.
...like Xd already does.
It's sad that I've been asking for this feature since decades, and now, a new software can do it, instead of the "cutting edge" vectorial software...
And, the most ridiculous, inside the same company.

The plugin costs double the price compared to Affinity Designer. So, no way! And again, Affinity Designer, does the thing and more...
I'm just saying that, is a shame. XD can do it and Illustrator not.About the 3D rotation: Right!! ...Again, this kind of things, I don't understand in Adobe.

Jorge, if you need more basic shapes — I advise to to study DynamicShapes plugin for Ai from AstuteGraphics. It patches all the holes in Ai’s shapes.
And yes, I tried 3D transforms in Xd. I see what you mean. On-canvas controls AND direct control over values is a way to go.

...it's sad that, every time I need to do some designs with stars or cogs, I prefer to use AD and then import the vectors to Ai...
The same, if I need to open some old freehand files. (In which, btw, it was already possible to Live-edit basic shapes decades ago!) AD can open them. Adobe never accepted the fact that was not so good and user friendly, and since macromedia acquisition have just erased the best design software ever: FreeHand.About the 3D tool, I know that we can use the effect in Ai... But, have you already tryed it in Xd Egor? The way it works is muuuuuch more simple and effective to use, since we grab the object instead of a cube in a separate window (Ai)...
About Adobe as "the same company"... You're right...

Jorge, do no treat Adobe as a 'same company' :)
Star — agree, this needs to be a 'live shape', just like polygon, ellipses and rectangles.
3D rotation — well, you have it already, Effects > 3D > Rotate. Not as a tool, but effectively the same.
