Customizable splash screen
Adobe marketing team decides what to display as splash screens. Sometimes the choice is great, and sometimes is not, much more often, to some of us.
And since the Illustrator splash screen is what we see often, and it obviously influence our thought and mood, we’d like to have options to customize it.
We can access the image ourselves, all of them are stored along with other version for different resolution screens at
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator 2022\Support Files\Contents\Windows\aiccsplash.png (on Windows)
and packed in the application in Contents\Resources\ (on Macs),
but this feels like a hack.
What if we can have:
A) a loading interface that takes an image provided and updates the resources
B) an ongoing challenge, where every enthusiast can submit an artwork, using a hashtag or something similar, and the most upvoted gets picked for the next splashscreen
C) an algorithm that picks an artwork randomly and automatically from the Behance top, each time Ai launches, with customization options, like Windows can do for its desktop wallpapers
B) an option to turn off the image at all (some prefer CS3 style)
Creativity for all, right?
Modding is creativity.

Hi, I think most users would appreciate the option to turn off or modify the initial image that is displayed after startup.
I must point out that lately the creators of this brilliant program have not been very lucky with the choice of opening images. -

The 2020 cc Photo Shop & Illustrator splash screens are truely ghastly, with no asthetic appeal -- simply bad, clumsy art that insults artistic perfection. A sad & alarming dumbing down of a professional, creative pedigree. Even the 2020 Lightroom splash screen is an insult to the software's amazing capabilities. If there was a worthwhile alternative to Adobe I would switch just so as not to be party to such bad taste.

Completely agree. I often find the splash screen artwork disturbing.

I Totally agree with Moe, this illustration is annoying. Every day the same "lady" image.
My suggestion is to create a random selection from Behance when the illustration/art/whatever is elected will popup on the starting screen, every month a new art. The election can be done via the Twitter pool.
Necessary to offer some kind of "prize" ex. a year of CC for free.Sound good?

The confused, agitated (sleeping?) puckering girl in the 80's tshirt is killing me.

I have used Adobe since the Mac II came out & enjoyed the opening art. The recent "lady" art for ILLUSTRATOR CC has been depressing and is more depressing since she looks like new congress person from NY. PLEASE , could you insert happy art to help me start a project with upbeat attitude?
Thank you, Moe Crouch, 89 yrs. old and still kicking projects thanks to Adibe .aps,

We need a simple way to disable the splash screen that appears while Illustrator is loading. Preferably this would be a global setting option to turn splash screens off by default for all Adobe programs. For some professional business environments, the splash screen artwork is distracting, and in some situations it may even be inappropriate. The ability to customize this part of the program would help make the software a better fit for the professional workplace.
