Introduce the mirroring an object effect

Bartley, there are 2 main approaches to mirror an object in Illustrator:
1. Use Object > Repeat > Mirror command. This will give you control over the mirror axis you can modify directly on canvas.
2. Use Effect > Distort & Transform > Transform effect. It’s harder to control, within the dialog only, but it has more options. Check Reflect X and set the reference point to one of right position with the 9-point control to flip the object to the right. Try other options to get different results.
