Guides menu box
I use guides on all projects, I open a new artboard, hit cmd+r for the rulers to appear and then draw a square that I want my margins to be, hit align left/top pull a guide line down for horizontal and vertical then align to right/bottom an do the same, this gives me my margins... can we get a popup window that just lets us type in values, like the bleeds but for margins, plus central horizontal and vertical guides tick boxes and columns/row margins etc. Would be great to save these as presets, so I can open a doc, click 10mm and it's all done from what I've saved. Nothing I am aware of...
But there are NUMEROUS scripts that do that (and this is probably why the team doesn’t hurry with adding it from the box — but this is a personal guess of mine)

...there were more, but these are the ones I remember.Would you mind me merging your request into the second one though? This would convert yours into a comment — but when researching, the team reads through comment anyway.

It's along those lines but mine is a more detailed request. Is there anything in the works for this feature?

@dm, there are two existing request, similar but a bit different:
1. Add "New Guide Layout" option in "View" — http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/32403154 — the one that copies the existing feature in Photoshop (but it’s not exactly margins and is not suited well for these)
2. Margins! — http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/20611159 — this one is about margins, but not exactly guide layouts.
I bet you request is about the latter, am I correct?
