  1. Please improve the functionality of the files when multiple artboards are designed and the design is complex in nature.

    Illustrator is hanging or freezing when complex path designs are being designed or multiple dartboards are designed in a single file.
    I am using a MacBook Pro M2 Chip which is known for its processing and still facing so much issues with heavy and complex files.

    Afinity Designer2.1.1と、Adobe Illustrator 27.8.1のパフォーマンスの違いを、複数のアートボードがある、.ai ファイルを開いて検証した所、
    圧倒的な速さでファイルを開けるAfinity Designerに対して、1分以上遅く元祖Illustratorは開きました。

    いつまでもNVIDIAのグラボしかサポートせず、RADEONは対応していない点や、メモリ割り当て機能が存在しない為、パフォーマンスが、劇的に落ちています。

    Adobe Illustratorは、Adobe製品の中でも、「要」のアプリケーションです。そのソフトウェアを、最適化して更にパフォーマンスを高速化出来なければ、効率の良い業務がいつになっても出来ません。

    パフォーマンスが遅くて、未だに完全に試していない機能もいくつかございます。

    Mac OS Xも発売当初、ユーザーから、パフォーマンス！パフォーマンス！と猛烈にリクエストされて、現在に至るわけですから、御社も「要」のソフトウェアの更なるパフォーマンス向上をリクエスト申し上げます。

  3. Adobe illustrator is running slow for no reason

    I have been using adobe illustrator for more than a year on my vurrent laptop and i never had problems (acer nitro 517-52 GTX1650Ti I5). I have updated my graphic drivers and illustrator too. I know i am using more and more fonts over the time. But since adobe illustrator crashed yesterday i doesnt stop lagging. When i am constantly zomming in and out with alt and middle mouse button its crashes in less than 5 sc and crash after placing down 5 rectangles in like 30 sc.   4. Speed up Redraw with All Thumbnail Options on One Button

    Switching off thumbnails for improved draw speed means switching various options and locations to get the layer, object and transparency thumbs all switched off. Working many customer files per day this is a drag.

    Please put them all on one "thumbs" radio button with options for all-on, all-off, or custom preference, so I can get my work done faster.

    Make this an application preference rather than document preference to save me even more time.

  8. I request this program to be brought to 2021 rather than leaving it in the 90s. I hate using this program. It SUCKS

    Bring illustrator to a current user format. It is stuck in the 90s. I HATE using it. I use photoshop, AE, etc. All great. Illustrator SUCKS. Can I say that loud enough.....

    Everything is sooooooo slow! I know there are a million "tips" on how to speed it up but even with a high-end desktop, complex artwork on multiple boards kills illustrator.

    Hello Everyone, I am using Illustrator 25.0.1 version which I updated recently from 25.0, 2021 version. During work I have noticed a small problem in Layers option. First when I copy some artwork from one file which is SPLIT in different LAYERS to another file it does not give me the same SPLIT layers in the new file but put it only in one layer instead.

    Buonasera,
    migliorare la potenzialità di illustrator per quanto riguarda allineare oggetti su oggetti bloccati sarebbe fantastico e performante.
    Nell'ambito del mio lavoro usiamo fustelle predefinite.
    l'idea sarebbe poter selezionare l'oggetto bloccato sulla tavola disegno o livello template e agganciate/allineare all'oggetto un altro oggetto.
    Questo permetterebbe un allineamento veloce e sicuro.
    Provo a spiegarlo con l'esempio.

    L'ideale sarebbe inserire nel pannello "allinea oggetti"
    lo strumento allinea a centro

    Questo permetterebbe la possibilità con un solo click l'allineamento all'oggetto bloccato

    spero di essermi spiegato.

  18. Name Change Improvement

    Dear Adobe, upon using the software for some years now I have got the impression of the software being related to illness, us being ill and traitor (although spelt a bit differently). So it's like 'ill' 'us' 'trator'.

    I know it might sound quite out there but there could be some reasoning to it. I for one have experienced some illness since using it (not to say the program is at fault) and an impression gets made and then I'm more cautious to use the program.   19. MAJOR PROBLEMS!! Cache/Scratch NOT assigning to my selected Drives

    No matter how many times I un-install and re-install Illustrator, the program WILL NOT ACCEPT when I select a destination to my specific and dedicated Cache/Scratch SSD. I have a permanent studio setup with the latest MacBook Pro 64GB of RAM.. Everything was custom built the best it could be in April of 2020.   20. Auto back up does not work and it should. Everything is set correctly and I use Jing - however it's set as once an hour for a back up

    File back up for crashes needs to work as per the settings. If it set to back up every 2 mins - then where are the files? They don't seem to exist - not like In Design where my last file is brought back.
