  3. Adobe fonts do not auto activate reliably. Constant issues with Adobe fonts activating properly.

    Your product does not auto activate and integrate "Adobe Fonts" properly. Fonts constantly fail to load or activate from the Adobe fonts library.

    When features like this are not available, you are selling us a product that does not work. Everyone paying for an adobe subscription should be refunded based on the value of the feature. I.e. we should all be refunded for the value of PANTONE color use your app lost... why are we constantly paying to subscribe to a suite of programs that does not live up to the features promised? Send me a letter when the class…

  4. Fonts do not displaying on Character panel

    Select the text inside the illustrator and character panel is empty, never show any fonts be using. My computer didn't install the fonts but can display correctly in illustrator.
    When exported to PDF, can check the fonts is using Lora-Bold.

    I'm really frustrated and worries, how to check incoming files if always having this issue.

    Please help on this method.

  5. too hard to change text size

    it's too hard to change text size in the small boxes in the character window. Hard to select all the content. Hard to select the number part only. And both of these are the only way to make it work. Please just change behavior so that clicking in the box selects all the content.

  6. After this revision, the paragraph function cannot be used with single-select nodes and the shift button

    To modify the paragraph, you can use the node + Shift button to move and adjust the size without offset.
    After this revision, it cannot be used with the shift button.

  8. Disable Text Auto-Formatting

    In Illustrator 2023 came the addition of auto-formatting being applied to text.

    Specifically bullets, hyphen bullets, etc.

    This should have an option to permanently disable, as it is a nuisance and an efficiency problem to have to turn off every single new text block.

    Seriously, Adobe looked at one of Word's most broken features and decided to ram it into Illustrator? The least you could do is look at a good implementation of it like on Google Docs!

    But nope, we get terribly formatted, non-customizable, defaulted bullet auto-formatting.

    At least give me a preference setting to turn it off permanently.

    There is a way to disable this feature: Preferences > Type > Automatic Bulleted and Numbered lists while typing.


    However, the fact it’s that obscured and is not given to a user when a conversion happens is a bad UX indeed. In some other apps this choice is given, even when it’s not the first one.

  9. Include "Juneteenth" in the Shared Adobe Dictionary

    Juneteenth became an official US holiday last year and has been celebrated unofficially since at least 1886.

    Shockingly though, the word is not in any Adobe dictionaries.

    I propose adding it to the shared dictionary and pushing the update to all applications. I have tested this in multiple apps, and all show it as an error and suggest "Nineteenth" instead.

    This is a critical DEI omission, especially this month.

  11. Character panel in Properties Tab needs just one more row, please!

    The Properties Panel is great. It contains about 98% of every tool I need typically. However, I would be great to have at least ONE MORE ROW of the Character panel visible. Certainly everyone uses Scale when setting type? It's a fundamental necessity. This would prevent having to click MORE OPTIONS every single time just to horizontal scale. Simple but huge. Thank you.

  12. Please Address Ongoing Bugs in Font Activation

    Despite recently getting a fix, there is still a problem involving fonts deactivating, and Illustrator listing those same fonts as active.
    I'm still constantly going to the website to deactivate and reactivate fonts, and it's annoying.
    Just this afternoon I had this problem with Lato, HWZ Artz, and Wigwag. However I've seen this problem with many others before.
    Can't we just store these things locally and keep them there??

  14. Diacritic Positioning

    To add Diacritic Positioning Rules preset options (similar to InDesign) in the Middle Eastern features.

    It'd be handy when dealing with Arabic fonts that have their diacritics off, especially when dealing with paragraphs, instead of doing it manually.

  16. Font style not applying correctly

    Using the character window.
    When trying to alter pre-typed text, changing using Font Family menu in character window works, but changing using Font Style menu does not (the window states that it has changed, but the preview does not show the change)

    Operating System: Mac OS 11.4
    Illustrator Version: Beta - 25.5 360

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 26.0.0 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

  18. The option to select the text on the active artboard and not just the whole document.

    The option to select the text on the active artboard and not just the whole document. Presently I can select all text elements, I can then flatten/outline the text. But... if I need to outline the text on the active artboard, that would save a lot of time.

  19. Warning when a file uses PostScript Type 1 fonts

    Illustrator should put up a warning when a file is opened that contains Type 1 fonts, so the user is aware of that.
    - Link the warning to the EOL announcement, to Find/Replace resp. Adobe Fonts
    - User should be able to disable the warning
    - The warning should not pop up when there is no Type 1 font used in the file
    - Maybe this could be scriptable, so people can include it in large scale file checks
