An option for Release to Layers to create top-level layers
The Release to Layers always generate layers inside LAYER.
How about create an option that generate this layers OUTSIDE main layer and delete the last empty layer after remove the layers with objects to outside.
I always do this process to send layers for after effects.
PLUS > Add TAB options like photoshop to rename layers faster OR create a rename tool to do this task easier.

More usable Layers panel
Can we have the Layers panel open like Adobe XD (aids renaming and hiding/locking)?
I would appreciate if the panel could make it easier to name and select layers. For example, if I have an item in the artboard selected, I don't need to select the little blue dot (see attached photo) for it to register that it's actually selected on the artboard, especially if I'm selecting more than one item. I end up having to hold Shift to select the Layers in the panel, and then clicking again on EVERY blue icon to select the items on the artboard…

Change the opacity of a layer or directly in the tool
Hello, it would be nice if you could change the opacity of a layer without a mask. I like to draw the shadows with the Blob Tool and have to reduce the opacity of each path after each step. It would be easier if each path automatically had a previously set opacity. Alternatively, you could make this setting in the options of the tool itself. Thank you
Gabi1 vote1. Draw a stroke with the brush and select it.
2. Change the opacity of it as you want it to be
3. Open Appearance panel
4. In the panel’s flyout menu, disable New Art Has Basic Appearance option — this would make each new object created to inherit all the appearance settings (including the opacity set).
