Please allow image tracing of individual colours to individual layers rather than 16 million objects.
Being able to trace one colour to one layer would make laser cutting so much easier. e.g. 16 colours to 16 layers

Auto Layout, Grid layout & Padding
Auto layout is a property you can add to shapes and many things, to create designs that grow to fill or shrink to fit, and reflow as their contents change.
Also can add padding and margin , this help us when we design C.V., Menu, branding guideline & ...ect

I would like to see the output of the subject created by the generated AI with each part layered by part.
I would like the subject created by the generated AI to be output with parts divided into layers by part (right eye) (left eye) (outline) (eyebrows), etc.

Copy and Pase Layer with sorted and named sublayer looses all the structure after pasting.
Keep the layer structure that is copied and paste it in the same structure after pasting into new location.

Make renaming layers consistent across Adobe applications.
Currently, the process of renaming layers in Adobe's apps is inconsistent and misleading for new users. It provides a frustrating experience when working in several apps simultaneously. To rename a layer, users need to perform different actions in Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects
Please, fix this issue. A universal solution (a shortcut) should exist to rename layers in all Adobe apps.

Blending Modes and Transparencies in Search / Filter in Layers
Could you consider incorporating Blending Modes or transparencies as additional filters in the Layers panel's new search feature, which is currently assisting us in sorting by images, text, and more?

Disable Layer Search in Layers Window

Please allow for disabling the layer search function. The Layers window search field randomly activates, especially when opening new files from a template and when opening exitisting files to make revisions. This is incredibly frustrating. For example; when I open a file and try to select the type tool by hitting the T key, I just end up typing a line of T's in the layer search bar. When the search function is active it appears as if there are layers missing in the file, making it difficult to find…

Select the unlocked layer when the top layer is locked on file open
When working in/opening a file and the top layer is locked, the next layer should be selected automatically.

layer Merge Down
So, what I think could easily be done is just taking the already existing Layer Merge Down code from Photoshop, and literally just pasting it where it would work. I think this would be very useful.

Mark layers/sublayers in the layers panel
We used to be able to easily tell layers and other containers apart in the Layers panel. Layers/sublayers were marked with a darker or lighter background in the Layers panel.
This is important for several functionality that can be applied to groups but not layers and vice versa. Particularly when you deal with complex artwork such as puppets for Character Animator, but not limited to them. And you need it when analyzing other peoples' files.2 votes -

Option to turn off the warning about deleting a layer containing artwork
How do I turn off the warning about deleting a layer containing artwork? There's no "don't show again" option in the pop-up. :(
In my line of work I delete layers with artwork constantly and it does take time to click the warning dozens if not hundred times a day. I use Illustrator 27.1.1.2 votes -
Support Layered TIFF Files
Why cant I open a layered TIFF File in illustrator without first converting and loosing content in the process to a PSD they are very similar with a TIFF file actually being a preferable option for a lot of work for a lot of years it is disappointing you need 3 different versions of an ADOBE product to produce one piece of work? Does anyone have a work around for this I have read conflicting reports with nothing I have tried currently working!! HELP

New layer ordering
Would LOVE a "preference" option to choose whether your new layers/artboards appear above the existing layers/artboards or below them.

Please, for the love of god, add a key command or right click function to either collapse or expand all layers in the layer panel.
We work on enormous files with a complex layer arrangement. It gets frustrating when a layer containing a selected object expands itself whenever a different layer is interacted with. For the sake of organising your workspace, there really ought to be a button (in the options menu or what have you) that allows you to just collapse all layers. Obviously the opposite - expanding all layers - would be equally valuable. Muchos gracias.

グループ内のサブレイヤが非表示でも順序を入れ替えられるようにしてほしい
たくさんのレイヤのグループを作り、各グループのうちひとつを表示して書き出し、という方法で何枚も図面を作ることが多いです。
例えば「1990年」というグループ内に、当時の「道路」「土地利用」「施設」等を入れ、同じように「2000年」「2010年」というグループを作る、等です。
このときに、すべてのグループにおいて「道路」サブレイヤを「土地利用」サブレイヤの上に移動したいとします。
ところが、現状各グループが非表示だとレイヤの上下移動ができません。「1990年」を表示して、レイヤを移動して、「1990年」を非表示にして、「2000年」を表示して、…と面倒な作業を行わなければなりません。移動するレイヤは名前でわかるので、非表示のまま移動できればかかる時間が大幅に減るのに、と思っています。時間短縮のために、グループ内のサブレイヤが非表示でも順序を入れ替えられる機能をつけてほしいです。
