Add an ability to export TIFF with transparency (alpha channel support)
Unless I've gone completely mad, I could swear there used to be the option to Export a file to TIFF with transparency (a checkbox in the export settings). This no longer appears as an option. How does one export a transparent TIFF these days??

One thing that's missing for me is support for the alpha-channel for TIFFs. Without transparencies I can’t use it as an failsafe alternative in CMYK exports.
I would love to export a batch of stuff in TIFF for Print, and in PNG for Screen.

It is hoped that an option to check the transparent background can be added to the option for exporting TIFF format, so that the exported TIFF format can have a transparent background

希望增加tiff导出透明选项。有些项目(印刷工艺)需要透明的tiff文件,目前不能导出透明tiff文件,只能通过PS完成。

You haven't gone mad or it could be we're both mad. I worked around this by saving the file as an EPS out of Illustrator which does support transparency, then open that in PS and save as a Tif there as it keeps the transparency. Hope this helps
