The team again asks for help with this issue, since there are not specific steps they can try to reproduce it — the nature of the bug is random.
If you are a Windows user, the next time you spot a missing or a duplicated number in Artboards panel, please follow these instructions below.
1. Open Task Manager
2. In Details tab, locate 'Illustrator.exe'
3. Right click it and choose 'Create dump file'
4. Wait until the dumping process is complete and click 'Open file location' button
5. Find 'Illustrator.dmp' (sorting files by date helps) and compress it with any archiving utility
6. Upload the archive to a file hosting service of your choice and sent the link for download to sharewithai@adobe.com. Please use the subject 'Artboards numbering bug dump'
This will help provide necessary clues to locate the source of the problem. If you are a Mac user —…

An error occurred while saving the comment onenower commentedYes, this command only exists in the property panel.
The emergence of the property panel is a good optimization, but it is not as convenient as expected, so I have been giving up using the property panel.
But after the appearance of the dimension tool, the 'Apply to All' command cannot be found elsewhere. Every time I use it, I have to open the property panel.Additionally, some features in Illustrator are quite strange. For example, if you set a color in the appearance panel of the property panel and then add a color in the independent "appearance" panel, the object will have color A+color B overlap, but the color set in the appearance panel of the property panel cannot be reflected in the "appearance" panel.
The appearance panel in the attributes is different from the individual appearance panel, which cannot be understood.onenower shared this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment onenower commentedTested again, the sampling seems to be problematic. Colors can be sampled, but the sampling points are very strange. Sampling text styles is invalid.

An error occurred while saving the comment onenower commentedUnderstood, thank you!
An error occurred while saving the comment onenower commentedThe alignment grid has not been opened, and this issue exists in both 28.6 and 29.0.
PS: When making multiple selections, it is the dimension tool, not the selection tool. Using the selection tool+shift, multiple selections can be made normally.onenower shared this idea · -
