App Crashed overnight, erasing 2 hours worth of work - need auto save/backups
I worked on a new files for 2 hours throughout the day yesterday. Just before bed, I locked my iPad and set it down. When I opened the app this morning, there were strange green lines across the canvas. I force quit the app. When I reopened, the illustration had been reset to a far earlier state, losing 90% of the work I did yesterday.

I have the same issue, and simply can’t believe this message was posted 3 years ago. Same issues. Same problems. Don’t seem to be fixed even tho it has been paid for

Same bug today - one hour of work, exiting to the main menu and file preview shows like nothing was done in the last hour. I tried to open the file - didn’t work, there was no updated files in version history, only old ones. Had to quit Ilustrator, after relaunch same thing - my work was lost.

Met the same issue today. The part of the work that I did last evening disappeared when I opened the app in the morning. There was no needed version in versions history, only these that were done much earlier.

Agreed. There must be a better way than cloud save. I do like the cloud saving and the functionality there. But, I also want to be able to manually save it without having to back out of the document. Without having to export an AI file.
