Typing does not work with the magic keyboard in the app

I can highlight and create text boxes but when I attempt to type nothing Inputs and it selects other tools.

    Cannot even type. I use the Magic Keyboard.
    For some reason (and this has always been a problem) my quick keys stop working sometimes and I have to restart the app, but sometimes (and now) that wont even solve it.
    Additionally, directional arrows never curse through text, I have to tap to move the cursor.

    Whenever I want to write some text using the iPad with external keyboard the app lags or wont work, when it does write I can’t go back to correct any mistakes I'd have to erase everything. This makes making a simple document very time consuming.
    Pretty bad performance for a subscription service.
