How can you stop the canvas from rotating in Preferences?

Love the addition of the rotating artboard!! But how do I turn it off? Thanks!

A feature that would be handy is to be able to pinch zoom and turn the canvas to save having to turn the iPad itself when drawing. I believe Procreate does this and it makes it easier to draw.

Solved the problem. Got Affinity Designer. No more rotation problems

Absolutely needed and it is the one thing that makes drawing feel natural (If procreate can have it on their app, you guys can!)

Or at least allow auto rotate to be turned off so that you can rotate the iPad and the canvas stays locked to the same orientation as the ipad

I’m so very impressed with illustrator for iPad but this is a big hang up ! I’m used to procreate and fresco and it’s a hard habit to break.

It’s a bit difficult to work on the iPad because I can’t rotate the canvas I am working on.

This is also a feature I would like to see. I would like to be able to rotate the canvas just like in Adobe draw and fresco please. It is a natural gesture essential to how I draw and use my iPad.

I came here to suggest the same. It's a habit and I was surprised that it wasn’t a feature.

Even adobe draw lets you do this. How did they not add this feature to the main version? Super frustrating, it’s worthless to me without this feature.
