Path smoothing and path pushing

The ability to smooth sections of a path after it’s drawn is a key feature. Also the ability to use a ‘variable size brush’ beside a path to push sections of a path. The app ‘concept’ is still more valuable to me as a vector tool as far as features go.

I am a senior art director with over 20 years experience working with Adobe products

    Adobe just produce **** for iPad. One cannot work with this app. So annoxing

    Smooth tool lets artists and designers refine the curves/lines of the artwork without using the desktop illustrator. Tweaking the anchor points using the anchor handles takes long time, smooth tool really helps in that case, I believe it is one of the essential feature for Illustrator on iPad.

    I love using the iPad for drawing, but a lot of times paths don’t end up quite how
    I want and so I like using the smooth tool to finesse some of the lines. It is frustrating to have to switch back and forth to the desktop version every time I want to use it. Would love to have it on the iPad as well!

    Updating the 'Pencil' tool so it 'smooths' or just generally redraws your path when drawing over an existing line, would be my next request - point editing a path is fine, but the 'redraw over the top' element is very useful

    The smooth tool is my most-used tool on the desktop version, it really saves so much time and it's a huge disappointment to not have it on the iPad version. Also being able to re-draw a selected path ("edit selected path" in the desktop version pencil options) would really help too.

    It would be great to have the smooth tool feature on AI for iPad! Using AI iPad would really speed up my process but without the smooth tool it will slow me down having to switch from iPad to desktop!
