Add Guides and Rulers to Illustrator iPad
Add guides and rulers to Illustrator iPad. It is very difficult to align objects and layouts accurately without them!
This feature shipped in 2.0. Please keep sharing your comments on it’s usability. Thanks!

There are zero tutorials on how to access or hide guides.

Insane that this doesn't exist yet!

Could the object rotate centre be snapped to guides and paths too, please? I can only get it to approximately the right point, I'd LOVE it if it could snap accurately.

I import a file from desktop with guides and they are there on iPad. Why can’t you add them on iPad?

Please add Rulers and Guide lines to the iPad version, so we can create alignments with precision and not by the eye.

It is essential for precise work to have actual rulers with measurements in mm etc

Rulers are essential, I end up having to pull my work from my Ipad onto my desktop, not sure why I’m paying for the app.

Also could use the ability to reset the 0 point. Rulers would be great to allow this like on the desktop program. Thank you.

Add ruler function so we can easily drag and drop guidelines.

It would be nice to see the same rulers and guides as in the desktop version in order to design with bleed in mind.

SImple guideline and rulers for layout, otherwise this will just be a sketchpad for vector and typology art

I was confused as to why there is a toggle button to show guides but no way to add guides except from an object.

Yes! I finished a print layout today and was unable to submit from iPad because rulers and guides are missing. Unable to align objects precisely across pages/art boards without them. This is essential!

I agree! Along with being able to pull ruler guides as you do on the desktop.

I haven’t found that this exists on the iPad version, but having a ruler feature is essential for a lot of what I do as a designer. I often need to create graphics on a page that need to be a certain size so having rulers like on the desktop version would be a HUGE help!
