Share for Commenting
We are happy to introduce the "Share for Commenting" feature for cloud documents in Illustrator. This feature allows a designer to receive comments in real time as they work.
In the first drop, we bring to you the following features:
• Share public links of your cloud document via the link settings in the Invite icon of your app bar.
• The reviewer sees an image of the artwork (as a vertical scroll of individual artboards) on assets.adobe.com and can provide comments through a comments panel on the right hand side.
• The comments are brought back in Illustrator through the new comments panel which can be invoked from the Windows Menu.
• Designer can review the comment and resolve the feedback.
In the subsequent drops, we will. be providing the below added functionalities:
1. A reviewer will be allowed to add pins and highlight an area to mark the comment that they are referring to. This will show up in the app for the designer to review.
2. A reviewer will be allowed to comment on a specific artboard.
3. A reviewer will also be allowed to comment as a guest.
4. in the link settings, the Save a Copy option will be honored.
We look forward to your feedback.

Thanks Hiroshi and Egor on the comments. We will have a guest commenting feature at the launch for this.
Regarding attaching documents, we will look at this in the subsequent phases. As Egor mentioned, we need to solve additional challenges of security, authentication and document corruption.

Hiroshi, you ask for an ability to allow unauthorized reviewers and an ability to attach documents in comments in the same time. You realize that this potentially can lead to bots using your document to store anything they want?
Here on Uservoice the system relies on moderators and other users who flag the inappropriate comment. You doc you once shared and then left as is for storage can become polluted quite easily, once the link is shared somewhere. I think that adding an attachment still must require an authorization.
I might be very wrong on this :)
What does Sanjit think about it? -

I think the fact that you need an Adobe account to review it limits the use of this great feature. I'd like to do some serious testing in subsequent drops.
It would be great if reviewers could attach files (images, Office documents, etc.) when they comment.
Thank you.
