The fix is pushed into Global Availability build 28.6.
If it misbehaves still — please comment back.

An error occurred while saving the comment hiroshi ikeda commentedDear Varun
Regarding accessing psdc and aic from Finder and Explorer: I find the dialog stressful when linking multiple psd files one by one. It would be great if I could link psdc files by dragging and dropping them from a floating palette (or bridge) like in a cloud browser, while checking the file name and thumbnail.
Regarding ability to convert documents with existing psd files linked to them to aic and psdc: We would like to be able to choose whether or not to upload the linked psd files as psdc. If I choose to upload them, it would feel more familiar to me if they were saved in a folder named Links in the same hierarchy as the aic files, like the package feature, and it would be easier for me to understand where the uploaded data is.
Thank you.
An error occurred while saving the comment hiroshi ikeda commentedIt would be great to have the ability to convert documents with existing psd files linked to them to aic and psdc. Or script support would also be good.
An error occurred while saving the comment hiroshi ikeda commentedProductivity will be even higher if aic and psdc can be accessed from Finder and Explorer, like Creative Cloud Files.
It would be nice to be able to place from Finder or Explorer instead of the dialog. -

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 25.4.1 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!

Creative Cloud
Illustrator チーム
【追記 – 2021年8月27日】
Photoshop 2021 が ver.22.5 にアップデートされ、日本語パス名の文字化け問題が修正されました。
Illustrator でもクリッピングパスが正しく認識されます。

Adobe Illustrator's Multithreading Journey Begins!
Dear Illustrator Community,
I'm thrilled to announce that we've embarked on an exciting journey to bring multithreading capabilities to Adobe Illustrator. This significant undertaking will enhance performance and responsiveness across various aspects of the application.
While this is a complex process that will take some time to fully implement, I wanted to share our progress so far.
Our Approach
We've strategically begun by focusing on the most computationally intensive operations—those that typically take more time and block the main thread, resulting in slower response times while you work. By moving these operations to separate threads, we aim to significantly improve your overall experience with Illustrator.
It's important to note that you may see more noticeable impact in some areas than others initially. However, we want to assure you that this is just the beginning, and we will continue this journey to bring improvements across…

Hi Everyone,
We have fixed this bug in our latest release – v 24.2.1 which is available worldwide now. Thanks for your patience on this.
Please note that after upgrading you might still see that Align To sets itself to Align to Key Object. If you see this, please manually set the Align To to the required setting, and this reported bug will not happen again. You’ll need to this one time only.
The reason Align To might get set to Key Object after update is because Ai remembers your last Align To on subsequent launches as well. So, if your last Align To was Key Object before quitting/upgrading, after first multi-selection, it will set itself to Key Object. After you manually change it one-time, it will work fine.

I think the fact that you need an Adobe account to review it limits the use of this great feature. I'd like to do some serious testing in subsequent drops.
It would be great if reviewers could attach files (images, Office documents, etc.) when they comment.
Thank you.
