   When opening / saving a file, issuing the shortcut shift - command - G brings up a dialog to enter a path as a string. Ordinarily you can then paste a path into the field with command - V. In illustrator the pasting action fails with a system beep. This issue is only happening in Illustrator. Other apps function as expected (including Adobe apps eg After Effects and Photoshop).
