Same here when I try to Copy-Paste elements between Illustrator and Photoshop. Once I Copy an element from Illustrator in pasteboard, then paste it in Photoshop. When I return to Illustrator, I can't copy a new element and get the same warning as the OP.

When does this problem will be fixed ? This is totally annoying. This makes the Library functions totally useless. This feature is a treasure chest when functioning. I have to restart the app so many times a day !

Mac OS Tahoe : 26.3.1 (25D2128)
Adobe Illustrator 30.2.1When I try tu use the File -> Packaging function in Adobe Illustrator, it gives an error message "Impossible de terminer l'assemblage" (French) and the packaging stops. Being incomplete. It seems to be dependent of some type of links.
When I do exactly the same thing, same file, same links. It works perfectly on my other Mac which is on Mac OS Sequoia.
It is clearly dependent on the Mac OS version.

The parent process is Adobe Illustrator, the extension is OnBoarding. The display never sleeps, the screen saver never starts, the session never locks. I came back to my desk after an hour away to find my workstation wide open, client files on screen. For a design studio handling confidential client work, this is a security problem, not a cosmetic one.
This thread goes back to 2024. A fix was announced for 30.7; users report it still happening in 30.8.2. Unchecking "Show the Home Screen" doesn't help either. The only workaround is killing the process — which I now do with a launchd script running every 5 minutes. I shouldn't have to write system scripts to work around an onboarding panel.
And this is one bug among many. Illustrator's bug tracker lists thousands of open reports, many of them years old. Meanwhile the subscription keeps going up and every release adds new generative AI features nobody asked for, while basic reliability issues stay open. Please fix the fundamentals before shipping more promotional panels — especially when those panels are the ones breaking the OS security settings.
