23 votesI am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 27.0.1 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!

I have exactly the same issue on the latest v.27 Illustrator on Windows 11, and posted about it on Adobe support community. Adobe have now acknowledged that the issue has resurfaced.

Hi Egor. I didn't save the previous file, but I have been able to replicate the same problem on a new document. If you grab and drag any of the edge or corner handles of the purple rectangle (rotated 45°), you should see the problem. The green rectangle (rotated 46°) works as expected.
I've also attached screenshots of my smart guides prefs and version info. Thanks.
