An error occurred while saving the comment Jake Hammersmith commentedScripts is too difficult to find. The folder is buried in system files. Updates don't preserve the old scripts. You should have a scripts palette like the other apps. Scripts are important and can be very helpful for newbies, but nobody knows where they are or how to use them. Please make a palette just for scripts, with info about each script. Or let user enter the info in the palette. Script "notes" or some such. This is really important.

This is pretty ridiculous. Illustrator files usually contain a preview image that could be used as a thumbnail and could also be used to preview the image contents. For YEARS I've seen every other graphics program conveniently displayed in Windows file browser apps. See attached screen cap. The file browser developers say that PDF previewing is handled by the OS. Windows says Adobe has to provide the code. Adobe says everything is fine and nothing needs to be done. But Illustrator files are just about the ONLY image files that never preview as vectors, or even show up as thumbnails. PLEASE FIX THIS OLD, OLD PROBLEM!
