An error occurred while saving the comment This has ruined many things I try to do on the ipad and just do only outlines now until I can get to a computer to use the mouse and the not broken version.

Specs are the most updated version of both Mac and Illustrator.
16GB of RAM
Quad core 8th Gen Intel Core i5
Intel Iris Plus Graphics 645
Resolution deos not seem to make any difference when I adjust it. The size of the object varies depending on my project, the largest I have tried this on is W: 515pt by H: 97pt, but this has even happened to thing 140x25 pt.
Ray tracing is off.
This has been the only file open sometimes to help make it less problematic. Even when it does finally open, I need to undo all the things it auto applies to the object and or text back to 0. I just wanted to apply a bevel and it applies extrude and rotation default setting.
This happens no matter which option I select from the drop down, I have to wait for it to apply some default setting to any of the 3D options that is way too much and makes it look ridiculous. If this is too much to ask, is it possible just to be able to change what the default selection is?
