    Was anyone successful in getting the TestFlight version installed on your iPad? The link Egor provided only shows Windows/Mac versions of illustrator, and no instructions on how to register for the iPad beta test.

    I don’t see a prerelease for Illustrator iPad on that page. Can you tell us when the full release will be available?

    I've since learned that this isn't an Adobe issue, it's an Apple issue, specifically for M2 iPads. If everyone impacted by this issue reported it on the Apple forums, perhaps it would be addressed more quickly.

    I found a solution to my problem. The tip on my Apple Pencil was loose. I tightened it, and the crashes stopped. I’ve been working for the last two hours without a crash!

    I have the same problem. When I open the app and use the Apple Pencil to navigate through menus it crashes immediately. This doesn't happen when I use my finger. I have an M2 iPad pro running iOS 17.1 (not a beta version).

    AdminEgor Chistyakov (Admin, Adobe Illustrator) responded

    There is a similar recent issue, caused by Pencil hover (https://support.apple.com/en-in/HT211774) support conflict with iPad OS 17.1 and it affects only 12.9 inch (6th Generation) iPad Pro and 11-inch (4th Generation) iPad Pro.

    Sometimes this can be resolved by going to Settings > Apple Pencil and turning off Show Effects.
