At the moment Ai does not support Color Swatches to assign artboard background color, and currently exporting a PNG doesn’t support respecting the color, as well as into some other file formats — but the team intends to add these.

An error occurred while saving the comment We're excited to introduce a new way to create artboards—now in beta! You can quickly add artboards of the same dimension by simply clicking the ➕ button that appears on the side of an existing artboard. Duplicate using cmnd +.
