When the units within the "Settings" (previously named Preferences in the drop down list but strangely still named preferences when the panel opens) is changed from points to mm, it does not hold onto the changed unit type between opening different documents or when restarting the software, instead it just reverts back to points for the keyboard increments when changed.
A very tiring process to have to keep going into.Iain supported this idea ·

Hi Everyone,
We have fixed this bug in our latest release – v 29.8.1 which is available worldwide now.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html

A very intrusive bug exists in the 29.7 update whereby when the swatch list is displayed, at first it shows the panel without the swatches present only showing the previously used Swatch icons without the swatch descriptions and requires the user to select the already ticked small list view option which then displays the small swatch list, however moving to another document it promptly disappears and the whole process has to be repeated, great affecting productivity between documents even though the workspace itself is saved.

All of these small and seemingly insignificant issues may appear to the developers as minor problems but for the day to day users they are a tangible and real issue that not only slows productivity down massively , it leaves users dangerously open to making mistakes on artwork builds.
