    Whether the suffix is applied is a separate issue. The problem here is that SVG files are no longer being saved with the correct artboard bounds, and round-tripping back into AI changes the artboard. This did not happen in previous versions of AI.

    When I check the Use Artboards box with the Save As command, AI appends "-01" to the file name. I need the SVG to be saved with the full size of the artboard without that box being checked as it was in previous versions.

    I am using the Save a Copy command and selecting SVG as the file type. Checking the Use Artboards box has no effect, and the results are the same either way. I just tried saving with the Save As command, and it does work correctly when the Use Artboards box is checked, so it appears to be something that changed specifically with the Save a Copy command.
