  1. fonts do not drop down. They did yesterday, but not today. Reinstalled to no avail. Drop down works in all other apps.

    Thank you Anish, but that was not the issue. The latest upgrade in windows 10 caused the problem. Some coordination is needed before I can upgrade. I set the upgrade back one version and Font drop down worked again.

    The current workaround for completely eliminating 'Recent' section in font list is to set '0' in Preferences > Type: Number of Recent Fonts.

    But since it’s stupid, please add votes to make it work properly.

    This worked fine until the 2018 upgrade recently
