Hi Everyone,
Thanks for the feedback. Want to give an update that we have removed the dialog, and the new experience is available in our latest release build – 24.1.1 for Win and 24.1 for Mac which is available worldwide now, in case you want to give it a try. Now, there will be no blocking message, we will show a “soft message” which will auto-dismiss .

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 23.0.6 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

An error occurred while saving the comment John commentedOMG that's the worst support ever. But he doesn't seem to understand that this happens every time Illustrator accesses Finder, even though it is only using local files.
All the whitelisting nonsense may be true for working with network files, but that cannot be true for opening or saving a file on your own hard drive. And why is it only Illustrator acting up, not ANY other Adobe software???

Yeah – just realized that the one I just posted is yet another lame dialog – not the original "close" one this thread was all about, sorry.
This one is the "save" one -- it does just the same – locks Illustrator down indefinitely until you click it.
