    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 23.0.6 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

    I suggest trying to make a more complex item then a simple shape. I am working on a 30+ page assembly drawing. I cannot select guides when zooming in to components. I have made a new file and loaded in the component and have no luck in moving guides when zoomed in. Believe at 800% mark i cannot select guide. Believe it might be a performance/software issue. If you want I can provide the component in AI file for testing.

    We have done further updates to Dimension tool with recently released version - 28.3


    You can create and use your custom scale for dimension, hide or show units on dimensions and dimensions are now sticky to the object - they transform as well when you transform the object.

    A functional dimension tool would be a great addition to illustrator!! I make print cards for a packaging company multiple times a day and have to manually add dimension to our print card. This is very labor intensive having to put guidelines, calculating which 1/16th to round to, drawing lines, picking arrowheads, then writing the dimension. Would be much simpler if i could select a point/line and measure to a 2nd point/line and have the measurement where I can extended freely.

    Lets be honest there is hardly anyone that uses the current measuring tool. And needs lots of improvement. It doesnt function with smart guides.
