Exact same problem. I delete and clear the prefrences and it works for about a minute or two and right back to the same problem. I've had to hire someone to do simple shifts for me. ADOBE, we need help!

Same problem. has anyone found resolution? This is annoying and makes the software almost useless.
I found a solution. On my MacBook if I turn off dictation, the problem disappears. I turn it back on, problem comes back. May not work for all, but it worked for me.
