How is this marked as Resolved?!? It is still happening to me every day. Shutting Chrome and Safari does nothing, only hard reboot fixes it.
Almost every day, at seemingly random times, the Space Bar will stop working as a shortcut for the Hand Tool. For as long as I have been using Adobe Illustrator, pressing the Space Bar has activated the Quick Hand Tool, which I use all the time for moving around inside an Illustrator file. It just stops working, and pressing the Space Bar suddenly does nothing.
There is another Bug for this same issue (marked as Resolved), which mentions that closing Chrome and/or Safari seems to fix this problem for some people. Not only is that not a good resolution to the issue, but it does not work for me (and many other people in the "Resolved" bug). The only way I can restore the Space Bar - Hand Tool functionality is to completely restart my computer, which has a huge impact on my work productivity, EVERY DAY.
This has been going on for months now, and commenting on the "Resolved" Bug is like screaming into the void. There are at least 44 unanswered comments about this problem since it was marked as Resolved (only 2 from me). PLEASE HELP US.
I am using macOS Sierra Version 10.12.6 and Illustrator CC Version 23.0
