    Thanks for reporting the issue. We have tried the scenario and failed to reproduce it,it would be helpful if you could provide some more information-

    Is this happening on win 7 only?

    Have you tried cleaning the preferences and re launching the application?Does that solve the issue.

    Have you encountered this issue with the latest Illustrator build?

    I'm experiencing the same issue on 3 different machines with Ai v23.0.2.
    Illustrator hang for up to 30 second after switching back from an other application.
    I've noticed the blank dialog windows on Windows 7 but non on Windows 10.
