   Thanks for reporting the issue. We have tried the scenario and failed to reproduce it,it would be helpful if you could provide some more information-

   Is this happening on win 7 only?

   Have you tried cleaning the preferences and re launching the application?Does that solve the issue.

   Have you encountered this issue with the latest Illustrator build?

   The PS was in regards to Acrobat Pro as I wanted to copy some file info, into the post - not possible :/
