Here are two screenshots with lined grid and dotted grid, otherwise the same. As you can see, the dotted grid is now invisible. I could see it before the update.nicolas supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment nicolas commentedWhen a grid is set as Style:Dots, it does not show up any more after update to 27.9, even when grids are not hidden. The dotted grids work in 27.8.1, and the lined grids work in both version.

An error occurred while saving the comment nicolas commentedI agree this is really missing in Illustrator, where so much things have to be placed manually one by one. Even in InDesign you can insert objects within a text box or hack something out with tables.

Update: bug is still there and still very annoying, but if that can help solving it, the grid dots appear for a moment while the mouse is pressed when text is being selected.
