91 votesThis issue was reintroduced in MacOS update Ventura. The team ran into another issue while implementing the workaround suggested by Apple. While the team revisits this issue, users can use workaround this issues by paste through context menu. Thank you all for the patience.

Yes, I agree with the below comments. I'm glad that this has already been posted here.
Another user notified me about a workaround for now so that we don't have to re-type the file name. If you do the right click and then select "paste" it pastes the copied text. It is still annoying, and an extra step, but at least you do not have to type it out.
I look forward to this bug being fixed.

Honestly, I downgraded to CC 18 because I couldn't stand this anymore. CC 18 programs work great and run super smooth. It was getting to the point where the newest versions were disrupting my workflow and reducing my productivity. I will not be upgrading to your newer programs anymore, until I hear from other users. You should really make sure they at least function correctly before releasing them to the public.
