    Agree. Torture. Saving even a small file causes a delay even when no other apps are open.

    Same here. I used to be able to save files and it was instant. Now it takes a noticeable length of time. I notice this most often when I press save (as an illustrator file) and then immediately want to save the same file as a PDF. I get a popup that tells me I can do this when it stops saving and asks me if that is ok. I never would have to wait in the past. It doesn't matter how big the file is.
