   You can grab the edge of the Gradient panel and resize it, making the gradient strip larger.

   I whole-heartedly agree with this suggestion!!! I’m a scientist and need to be able to toggle between raw data and processed images constantly, and it’s so frustrating to not be able to just use the Mac split window feature. PLEASE add this!!

   I have Illustrator 24.0.1 running on MacOS Majave (v10.14.6) and I also have this very annoying issue. Looking forward to it getting resolved, thank you!!
