I mean, like Illustrator's recent versions 2018 or 2019 maybe, I saw the text which I wrote, means if you click on the artboard with Type Tool selected, there you have "Lorem ipsum" default text, and now you go up to the control to open the characters/fonts or you go from character panel to see the fonts you have installed in your machine, there you should see the fonts with their names with the preview of select text which is "Lorem ipsum".
now this feature is not available in Ai CC 2020 24.2.3, which is annoying.

You can not change the preview and size of preview in the Character Panel, in the Type Menu, and in the Control Bar, either you are not able to modify these options in the Preferences in/under the type.

These features "Fonts Preview should be shown the preview/behavior in their own style in the list for selected text" by showing the name of the font.

to see the example, open the Photoshop CC 2020's Font list,
there you have all these features, you can change the Font Preview size in the type menu, and Huge is my favourite I love these type features of Photoshop, Font list with sample and Preview size.

    Properties Panel
It does not make me the faster because Shortkeys for years I use is the better way, many options are available in those particular panels for each or individual usage according to work and in the control bar quickly those could be used well, that is much better.
yeah, another good suggestion which is for Control panel, few useable options in property panel could be attached in Control Bar and then this panel would be better than it should be converted into Tools' Properties because many users do not know that many tools can be modified by double-clicking on it, and most people who know there is setting are not going to tool's preference when they work quickly.

    Tool's Properties Panel,
is required to set the desired settings and modification of the selected/working tool
it's properties like properties panel in Adobe Illustrator.

    Free Transform Tool:
It has it's own Properties or Kinds or Maybe other ways to transform which show through the icons (Perspective Distort, Free Distort, Constrain) which can be used in Tools Properties Panel.

Transformation Tools/Scale/Shear/Free Transform and it's hidden grouped Tools:
They should have been in the same group, b/c all tools are working for transforming the objects.
all these have Properties that could be found in the Tools Properties Panel.
but when one of them would be selected then other (hidden) should appear separately through iconic view in the Tools Properties Panel, just that panel should show the properties of selected/active tool at a time.

Simplify option found in the Object Menu inside the Path (Submenu):
that has much improved in CC 2020 by adding new Auto and other features in the Menu, and it works Illogically, now it should become the Tool instead of Option in the Menu as it has its own properties. (Auto Simplify could be the Tool Icon) and in the Tools Properties Panel, those options would be added.

In the Control Bar when Path and/or Anchor Points are Selected of a Path:
Corners: Show/Hide Handles for Multiple Selection of Anchor Points and
Convert: Selected Anchor Point to Smooth and Corner,
Anchor Point: convert: selected anchor point to corner/smooth,
Anchor: Remove selected anchor point, cut path at selected anchor point, Connected selected End Points.
These Features must be added in the Menu because if someone does not use the Control Bar then those options could be available in the Menu (in Object in Path).
but when someone who does not use Control Bar, then these Options must in the Tools Properties Panel because these are the Properties of Direct Selection Tool.

    Blend Options:
When I wrote Illustrator features in the forumAdobe.com I mentioned that Blend Options and other features of Blend Menu should be added in the Control Bar when a blended object is selected. also, these options would be added in the Tools Properties Panel.

    Live Paint:
Live Paint Merge Feature and other Option for Live Paint, must be added/attached in the tools Properties Panel when working with Live Paint Objects because it does not work logically.
(If you select a live paint object you see online live paint as a text and blow you have stupid features could be found in the Control Bar like Transform and Align.)

    Keyboard Increment:
Keyboard increment settings must be added in the selection, Direct Selection, Group Selection Tool (Arrows) and should be removed from Preferences in General tab, because these are the properties of Arrow Tools and these should be added in the Tools Properties Panel.

Constrain Angle settings should be inside of the Basic Shapes Dialogue/Properties like Rectangle, Ellipse, etc. instead of Preference in General Tab, that feature would be also added in the Tools Properties Panel.

Alignment options/icons in the Control Bar:
Alignment options/icons in the control bar are working in a stupid way because when you select few objects and then you choose the key object by clicking again on anyone from selected objects to align others according to the key object, and then you do not have other options like Horizontal & Vertical Distribution space and the text box where you dial the specific measurements of Space between objects to align according to the key object, instead, you see other redundant features/options in the control bar...!
which you do not use (Like Fill, Stroke and its Width Profiles Opacity and Graphic Style, etc.) after selecting the key object Illustrator should be able to change the above features in the Control Bar.
every time for those options every designer uses/opens the alignment panel when he selects the key object which is really annoying.
Unfortunately, this feature must have been added before/earlier versions of Illustrator, and still in CC 2020 we have these useless features in the control bar.
Same Features are available in the Properties Panel but not all, you will have to click again on 3 dots under the Alignment Icons to open remained portion of Panel to get those distributing space i
