Asset Export - Ability to reorder asset list view and group items
Asset Export - Ability to reorder asset list view:
Love the asset export, but it'd be really useful to click/drag change the order of my asset list in Asset Export panel.
It would also be great to have an option to group by art board. When I have a file of 20+ ad variants as their own individual artboard and want to export assets, it's a pain to keep track of things. It's also too bad that if I make a new asset later in the process, there's no way to group that asset next to the others in the same artboard, it's stuck at the bottom of the list.
Similar to others here I would also like the ability to assign unique export profiles per-group.
Especially with large numbers of assets; some you need as png, some with different scales, some as svg, etc..

Completely agree with this. The ability to reorder assets would be a massive help when dealing with large branding/graphic kits
Also to allow full asset name display on the list. Currently the names are truncated despite any width of the panel.

This is such a necessary feature for the work I'm doing for games development. Having my assets not grouped up as according to my naming convention makes it hard to double check for errors in my export process. I also agree with Ashley's suggestion of a slider to control the size of asset previews.
I agree and would add this aspect - for the Asset Export - it would be very nice (almost perfect) to add the ability to create groups of Asset Export Settings. To have the ability to have - for instance - a PNG group, or a JPEG group - or a Logo Group (which could consist of PNGs, JPEGs and perhaps a SVG), which we can create. The point is - that just like PDF settings - we might require many different exports depending on what we are doing and need assets for. Thanks
I tend to group elements together to move them around easily, but I can't pin point an element from a group and drag it to the Asset Export panel, it has to by itself on the surface level. I either have to break my groups (which becomes unmanageable), or copy paste the elements on the surface level, which ultimately duplicates them. I can't update the elements afterwards, OR I have to replace the old ones with the duplicates that are linked to the Asset Export panel.

oh also, the ability to preview the asset larger.

Yes totally agree!! Especially with the need to be able to add a piece to an asset without having to gather all the pieces and create a new asset and get rid of the old one.
