Dedicated buttons for Undo, Delete, Redo
Dedicated buttons for Undo, Delete, Redo.
Either at the top or on a floating toolbar. I'm sick of having to go to the keyboard or:
Edit > Undo
Edit > Clear
Edit > Redo
Sure I could use keyboard shortcuts — but I don't want to.
Virtually every other program has these buttons.
It cannot be hard to add them, even if only in that new properties panel.
You have to assume its bloody mindedness on Adobes part, continuing not have this basic feature and thinking everyone gets a thrill out of Command Z

I have 2 in 1 PC with a stylus pen with two buttons on it. Having the possibility to add one of those buttons as a shortcut for undo is CRUCIAL. A dedicated button in the screen is important, but being able to add it as a shortcut within the pen is a must!

I am using desktop illustrator app by mirroring on ipad to use pencil but I cant see undo redo buttons on top right I have to go to edit and then select undo or redo delete buttons.
also if it can detect my device and allow me to tap with two finger to redo, undo, delete buttons. it would be great

I have a 2 in 1 PC tablet and the touch version of the interface won't let me chose brushes. So I want to use the regular version of the interface for illustration to be able to pick my brushes, but when I have my pc folded as a tablet to draw on the screen, I'm not able to press ctrl+z to undo any mistakes.
It'd be great to have these buttons UNDO and REDO on all the interface versions the same way we have it in the tablet mode.

To make the app tablet/convertible friendly, we really need a way to map the functionality of our choosing (undo, redo, etc.) to toolbars. Seriously, as a developer, I know this is not difficult. What is difficult is grasping why this functionality doesn't already exist.

Command Z is super difficult, true.

Also if you're working on a 2-1 or a tablet, and you want to use a workspace other than "tablet" you can't really use keyboard shortcuts and have to use drop downs. Very time consuming.

I totally agree.

Really need this for all workspaces. The touch workspace is too limited to only use it.
