Place multiple files in a grid like InDesign (Gridify)
InDesign has a very nifty feature that I would like to see in Illustrator; if you press the arrow keys while placing multiple files at once, you can create a "grid" of said files. Depending on the job I'm working on, I have to place hundreds of files at once... Having this feature would streamline a lot of my projects.

This feature would be SUPER helpful. Please add it to Illustrator.

I would really like to have the same feature as in InDesign, with which you can draw multiple shapes/lines/text frames simply clicking up/down and right/left arrows while creating them: it would be extremely useful when creating patterns of any type in Illustrator. See attached example of a "gridified" hexagons sequence in InDesign.
Please add that! -

Not just placing files. I want them to add InDesign's "Gridify" tool into illustrator. It would be so useful to place multiple objects with the arrow keys.

I would love this feature!! Please implement. It would have the saving step of using InDesign, a print program, for a graphic desgin.

Have the ability to place multiple files in Illustrator, and with the "place gun" (the pointer with the 1/# on it), be able to hold modifier keys to create an easy grid of the imports, like the function in InDesign! (Highly recommend this for both Illustrator and Photoshop).
