Remember Pathfinder Options across sessions
Currently, the Pathfinder Options are not remembered across Illustrator sessions. This can be tested with the following steps.
- Launch Illustrator.
- Via the Pathfinder panel, use the flyout menu to open Pathfinder Options.
- Set the precision to anything other than 0.028 pt.
- Quit and relaunch Illustrator.
- Reopen the Pathfinder Options. The precision has been set back to 0.028 pt.
It would also be good if the Pathfinder Options were able to be recorded as an action. It seems like a bug that they can not now — recording an action for it appears to work, and there is a Pathfinder Options item, but the action does nothing.

Some of our teams perform highly-repetitive high-precision work in Adobe Illustrator, and this feature request, if implemented, would significantly improve the user experience when performing such work, and would also minimize the possibility of error if one were to forget to adjust the setting during a new app session..

'Remove Redundant' seems to be fixed:

But why not to remember ALL options for ALL the things like this beyond Pathfinder across sessions?
Like Effects > Convert to Shape > Rectangle: Extra Width & Height? or Zig-Zag preset values? -

Agreed. Would like to keep my "Remove Redundant Points" option, instead of having to open the options panel and re-click the box each time I start Illustrator.
In fact, all optional selections, no matter how obscure in the tools and UI, should be retained.
