Better Smart Guides
Can you guys PLEASE make 'Smart Guides' better? For example, I work with product UI/Graphics and I'm always having to zoom in 1400% to clearly align and place objects on top of other objects, but the snapping is NOT GOOD AT ALL... Can you guys make things snap to each other like other programs are able to do so like CAD programs etc...

anything new on the horizon? to think that the precision of snaps is one of the basic functions for technical/vector drawing. But sometimes illustrator looks like Microsoft Paint... Indeed Paint has evolved after 30 years Ai no.

Other programms (like Freehand) have been more reliable in snapping 20 years ago... But I don’t expect any improvements in the next 20 years, as the few implemented improvements that I have been waiting for took at least one decade...

Smart Guide snapping in Illustrator is AWFUL. And I need it for all graphics, not only UI stuff. Even on my UHD 4K monitor, I have to zoom in to such a high zoom level, that I can barely understand what I am looking at context-wise in order to know what I'm trying to snap to what. It's absurd.

This is so true. For UI stuff, smart guides and snapping are AWFUL and useless. However, in InDesign, Photoshop, XD and nearly ANY program that has snapping and guides - they work BRILLIANTLY. Why is this?

Points I would like to add to the Smart Guide
1. Point touching a regular circle from a fixed point
2. Points intersecting the perpendicular from the fixed point to the straight line
Benefits increase the possibility of plotting and increase workability -
Worth thinking about for sure. Corel Draw has more types, more markers, better options, better snapping options, better snapping, better recognition.

Make the Smart Guides as reliable as the ones in InDesign!
The Smart Guides have not been working consistently for many years now. I think they work 80% of the time the way I would expect them to, but that's just not good enough for professional work. I've attached an example of an issue I'm constantly having when working with smart guides in Illustrator.
