3 points arc creation tool (as a live shape)
Arcs and 'pie' shapes created from the center point and specifying the start and end angles that remain 'live' after creation.
Same as in CorelDraw!... been using Illustrator for 15 years had to revert to Corel for this feature.

Same need here : a "no inside stroke" option would be great AND this would allow us to keep the circle center at the right position.

The ellipse tool is great, and we can create “pie slices” from any given angle to any given angle, and that’s awesome. However, it would be even better if the resulting shape could be (user option) *without* the wedge; i.e., only keep the arc. This way, we could add arrowheads to the resulting arcs without having to break the shape, remove the central anchor point, and then add the arrowheads. The arc could be adjusted even after adding the arrowheads.
CorelDRAW has had that feature for 15+ years (last time I used it was about 15 years ago); I just don’t understand why Illustrator doesn’t have it…
Heck, I just downloaded and installed CorelDRAW on my machine, just so I could attach a preview here of what I mean exactly.

Arc by Points tool exists in a free Subscribe toolset plugin from AstuteGraphics. Have you tried it?

It is possible to add a feature in arc creation tool that uses the three points creation method (starting point - final point - middle point)?
I found the current arc creation tool very annoying

Agree. Illustrator's unbelievably crude Arc "tool" (toy) should provide Start Angle and End Angle options, like CorelDraw has since the 1990s. Oh, and the completely free Inkscape naturally provides Start and End angles for arcs!

Can you please add a circular arc (circle segment without the lines from the circle center to the arc) as a shape object. I often need circular arcs and just want to define its radius and angle. The current options to achieve circular arcs (Ellipse Tool) have the disadvantage that radius and angle cannot be adjusted after having created the arc.

Could you post a video or gif of what it looks like in Corel Draw, because there's a Pie shape available in Ai with the circle tool (of course it's not perfect)
