In the Save As -> SVG menu, there’s now an option to Embed images.

Four years after being submitted, and still nothing has been done. Is it so difficult to program?

Almost two years after the initial post, and almost one year after Dirk Schulze’s reply, Illustrator still can’t open <textPath> properly… I don’t even have the glyphs in the right places!

The ellipse tool is great, and we can create “pie slices” from any given angle to any given angle, and that’s awesome. However, it would be even better if the resulting shape could be (user option) *without* the wedge; i.e., only keep the arc. This way, we could add arrowheads to the resulting arcs without having to break the shape, remove the central anchor point, and then add the arrowheads. The arc could be adjusted even after adding the arrowheads.

CorelDRAW has had that feature for 15+ years (last time I used it was about 15 years ago); I just don’t understand why Illustrator doesn’t have it…

Heck, I just downloaded and installed CorelDRAW on my machine, just so I could attach a preview here of what I mean exactly.

I have the same problem, not only for groups with Gaussian blur or feather effects, but basically for also for any and all shapes that have a stroke.
