Vector resolution is too small, better handle printing with Laser Machines
When sending a job to "print" with a laser machine, Illustrator is quite slow and doesn't handle vector and bitmap below 333 dpi...
I had to switch to CorelDRAW to be able to "print" vectors @ 0.001 and bitmaps at 250 dpi... in Illustrator it reads vector with at 250 dpi as bitmaps! (dpi should not matter for vectors)

Sergio, some changes were made in how Ai handles precision since 2018... when you try it today (if you do try it) — what happens? If it’s still a problem, please share more details about your workflow.

I totally agree, I was just about to write my own request about Illustrator working with Laser cutters. Adobe should definitely take a look as Laser/ CNC cutting straight from Illustrator as currently all Laser suppliers we spoke to were advising against Illustrator and recommending only CorelDRAW.
Biggest request from me when it comes to laser cutting -- make it possible to not use the Adobe print dialog box and go straight to OS driver as for each job I have to go to machine driver and set up and do not use the print dialog box at all.
New idea from comment
This comment was upgraded into a new idea: Allow to bypass the Adobe print dialog, going straight to OS driver
