Allow Artboards to snap to the grid
I'm working on a heavily modular layout and the modules are snapping to the grid nicely. However when duplicating the artboard, the artboard will not snap to the grid.
This therefore throws the modules slightly off the grid as the Artboard position has to be matched by eye.
I've also downloaded and tried the CC 2019 pre-release and it still does not allow snapping of artboards to the grid.
Please fix this, thanks.
I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 24.3.0 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!

Max solution with adjusting it with keyboard arrows works flawlessly.

If this is a feature, it certainly isn't on by default. How do you turn it on?

Such a simple feature yet so useful... please implement it already...

Hello! Just adding to the discussion that I would LOVE for this to be a feature. It definitely slows down my workflow having to adjust multiple artboards all the time because my design work is very grid-focused. Thanks!

It is weird that when you have a grid that doesn't snap...
oh, yeah, it's not weird. it's Illustrator after all. -

Another barebones feature that should be built in from the get go. What is the point of using a grid if you can't align your workspace to it? A solution in the meantime:
create vector at desired Artboard size>snap it to grid>create Artboard from rectangle

This request is now 1 year old, and i just had the same issue. There is actually no reason why the artboards are not snapping to grids ... Adobe, please fix this. It has been a year already on this. I am currently working on booth designs and i have a document with like 20 artboards for different walls. I have to have a certain space in between some artboards (walls) to make the images on them work. Right now i just drag the artboards by eye. That is really annoying.

I agree, moving with keyboard makes the Artboard snap to grid.

Hi Chris, I just discovered a trick that could solve the thing ...
after having duplicated the artboard, drag it near the grid, and then if you use the arrow keys on the keyboard (instead of doing it by hand) it snap to the grid ... it seems that works ...

Hi Chris, I completely agree.
it's an obvious and very useful feature, it should already be active ...
Please implement it as soon as possible.
Thanks
