Add checkbox to modify Magic Wand tool so you can select from "Active" or "All Artboards"
Selecting fills/strokes based on their colors is a great way to make changes quickly in Adobe Illustrator.
The issue with the Magic Wand tool is that it selects colors from ALL ARTBOARDS.
My request is to add a simple checkbox to give the Magic Wand tool the option to select just the "Active" artboard. By default it will select from "All" artboards.
Thank you!

This would be a great addition to the magic wand! Yes! I often use isolation mode to try and limit the reach of the magic wand, but it's an imperfect solution with layers, I don't want to group things and mess up my layer structure, just to limit the magic wand.

If you still have Actions’ slots for F-keys, you can speed the process up a bit more. I uses these for other things though.
As for the feedback — the team is really reading UV and makes their decisions based on it. Not directly and straightforward, but as one of major sources of feedback.

Thx. That´s how i do it all the time. And that´s why i think there should be a easier way.
Good to know that somone is listening, but hard to understad, that those type of suggestions ale already four years old! -
Unlike the 'sticky settings' problem for the wand, this one is less popular.
An existing workaround is
1. Select > All on Active Artboard
2. Select > Inverse
3. Object > Lock > Selection
and then try to work with the Wand on the active artboard...
Sure it’s not perfect, and the request is valid. But 3 votes is rarely enough to promote a request.(Edited by admin) -

Did anyone answer that question?
